Coverage

During the late 1800s, Seville Packing Co. was an olive and olive oil company founded by Marc M. Michael in Jersey City, New Jersey. They imported and produced olive oil, olives, and combined olives and pimentos. The presence of an olive oil bottle at Stanley Park suggests that the site could have been an array of locations such as a factory, an establishment where food is served, or a family home. The estimated identification and manufacture date (1899) gives us a greater understanding of the time period that this site dates to.
